Barron Trump, the youngest son of former President Trump, has been named a Florida delegate for this year’s Republican National Convention, marking his entry into politics at the age of 18, The Hill reported.

Barron Trump has been selected as one of the 41 at-large GOP delegates from Florida for the July convention, where the party is anticipated to formally nominate his father as its presidential candidate for the November election against President Joe Biden.

Evan Power, the chair of the Republican Party of Florida, confirmed the information to The Associated Press.

    The Hill added:

Trump, who turned 18 earlier this year, joins three of the former president’s other children — Eric, Tiffany and Donald Trump Jr. — who were also selected as delegates. NBC News first reported Barron Trump’s selection as a delegate on Wednesday.
