Judge Scott McAfee was forced to call for a five-minute break during a hearing after Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis lost her temper.
In a January 8 motion, Michael Roman, the co-defendant of former President Donald Trump, claimed that Willis had improperly profited from appointing special prosecutor Nathan Wade by using the money he received from his appointment to take trips with Wade while they were dating. The hearing on Willis’ eligibility to continue her lawsuit against former President Donald Trump included her testimony.
When asked if Wade had ever been to her house, Willis became defensive and began displaying documents as evidence that the accusations were untrue.
“So let’s be clear ’cause you lied in this … let me tell you which one you lied in … Right here. I think you lied right here.” Willis said, raising the documents.
