A national poll found out that a huge majority of the Republicans don’t believe that Joe Biden won the election fairly.
While 96% of Democrats said Biden won the election fairly, only 20% of Republicans said they feel confident about the results, according to a survey conducted between Dec. 16-20 by USA Today andSuffolk University.
More than 85% of Republican respondents said they would either fully back President Trump or consider voting for him again in 2024. Polls looking ahead to 2024 find that Trump has what appears to be an insurmountable lead against a number of Republicans, including Vice President Mike Pence, former United Nations Ambassador Nikki Haley, and Fox News host Tucker Carlson.
Trump has yet to concede the election and has repeatedly claimed the election was stolen from him in a myriad of ways, ranging from mail-in ballot implementation amid the coronavirus pandemic to the Dominion Voting Systems machines used by some states to count ballots.
Trump’s team has mounted a series of legal challenges that have been struck down in the weeks following the election.
The poll included 1,000 registered voters and had a margin of error of plus or minus 3.1 percentage points.
